Nissan North America Inc. kicked off online reservations for Nissan’s all-electric zero emissions car,
the Leaf last Saturday (May 15). The reservations can be done on Nissan USA website by answering
just a few questions and paying a refundable $99 deposit. According to the company, there have already
been more than 9,500 orders during the priority reservations for select customers for a partial release scheduled in December.

The list price is $32,780 (incl.tax) in the US and they will be widely available in 2012.
